Education

I graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in 2006 from Motlow State Community College.  After Motlow, I went to Athens State University in Athens, Alabama.  I received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Athens State.  I went on to receive my Masters Degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University.



Experience

My first teaching experience was at South Pittsburg Elementary in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  I taught 5th grade at this school.  I moved back to Middle Tennessee, and I started teaching at Eakin Elementary in Shelbyville, Tennessee.  I taught 3rd grade.  I moved to Chattanooga, and I started teaching at Eastside Elementary.  I taught 5th grade then I taught 4th grade for 3 years. I am currently in my second year at Hillcrest Elementary teaching 4th grade. 



Bio

I am from Shelbyville, Tennessee.  This is a small town known for it's walking horses.  I graduated high school in 2001.  I went to Motlow State Community College and received my Associates Degree.  Next, I went to Athens State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.  Finally, I went to Tennessee Tech University and received my Masters Degree.  This year is the start of my 8th year of teaching.  I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
